Grapes of Worthing is owned and run by Richard and Jane Ambridge, who have been in the drinks (and food ) industry for over 40 years.

Drawing on his many years in the trade, Richard uses his in-depth knowledge, wine skills and contacts to source his wines from a variety of UK importers. He has also travelled to many of the worlds finest wine regions and met personally some of the worlds top vignerons, winemakers and owners.

He looks primarily at small producers, plus he also imports from a handful of small growers in France. There are always constantly changing Bin Ends at all ends of the price spectrum with the sourcing of quality wines for specific requests part of the service; wines have even been exported to Bordeaux and Italy! Grapes will happily put together mixed cases according to your requests and your taste and budget.

Wine talks, tastings and dinners are frequently arranged in a variety of venues. Tell Richard about your group and/or venue and he will be delighted to tailor an entertaining and informative evening to suit you.

We now also have the flexibility to organise wine holidays, and have run numerous extremely successful small group trips to various wine regions in Europe.
