An Announcement…
The daffodils and primroses are out giving a welcome blast of colour, Spring is on its way!
That’s the good news, but the less good news is that I have a significant birthday soon, and coupled with us both having one or two health issues recently, all against the background of rising costs, I have decided to spend this year slowly retiring. We have put on less tastings lately due to these factors. I’m also getting fed up with the sound of my own voice!
Grapes on Tour is very popular, and there are places we have yet to visit, so that will continue.
However the traditional Grapes business will slowly wind down...but in the meantime there are still events we want to do, and I have a reasonable amount of stock still to sell, including a special offer on some lovely fine wines. See our Connoisseurs Selection page, where you can download a list of these wines.
Please see our Events page for details of a Australian themed dinner in April, and a very special event in July at the Sugrue winery with a 4 course dinner cooked by Mark Hix.
Visit our Grapes on Tour page for details of our Spring 2026 trip, which promises to be a cracker! One room available! And in October we are returning to Saumur.
